"Great work works.” And that's regardless of the subject, audience or media. If the idea and brief are strong, the creative will be too.
Laura began her career as a genetic counselor working at a hospital where she was involved in the first prenatal diagnosis of Zellweger syndrome (even co-authored an article on this discovery). During the day she worked between the pediatrics and obstetrics departments, and at night she wrote and created brochures for patients and physicians. Her success with the creative written word led her into pharmaceutical advertising.
Since that time, Laura's work has been spanning virtually every therapeutic category and communications medium. She has launched many brands in the US and globally, from orphan drugs to several billion dollar drugs with multiple indications, and with multiple audiences. Laura's healthcare work has been honored by the Rx Club, MM&M, MedAdNews, Doctor's Choice, PharmaVoice, Global Awards and others.
As creative director at RCW McCann Healthcare, Laura is passionate about guiding creatives through these ever-changing techno-focused times: one of ideas being versatile enough to embrace every channel in an impressive and provokative way- while always pushing the creative envelope.

Chee Guan Yue
National Executive Creative Director, Grey Group, China
Chee Guan took a rather interesting path that led him to Grey more than 8 years ago. He first started jungle training as a commando officer in the 80's, then he studied Business Administration at the National University of Singapore. That's followed by his first taste of advertising as a visualizer, which turned out to be a life-changing experience.
Chee Guan decided to move to California to learn more about advertising in the early 90's. After graduating from the Art Center College of Design he took up a job as an art director in Boston's Arnold Fortuna Lawner and Cabot. He admired British advertising so much that he boldly relocated to London in 1996. After a short stint with TBWA London, Chee Guan returned to Singapore to work with M&C Saatchi, then Lowe and Partners. He rose quite quickly to Head of Art before he was invited to join BBDO in Shanghai as a Creative Director. That was year 2001. In little more than a year, he was promoted to the post of Executive Creative Director.
In 2004, Chee Guan got married and moved back to Singapore where he worked with 10AM. After the birth of his princess, the family moved to Beijing where he continued his adventure with the Grey Group. Two major events happened in Beijing – Chee Guan was promoted to be Grey Group's National Executive Creative Director; and his son was born.
Over the course of 8 years, Chee Guan has lived through the ups and downs of Grey. There were glorious moments when big accounts like China Mobile and Mengniu (one of China’s top dairy brands) were won, and there were the humbling effects of the financial meltdown in 2009. There were hard fought battles that brought home Cannes Lions and One Show Pencils, and there were disappointments seeing great ideas being killed.
Under the leadership of Chee Guan, Grey has grown into a creative force to be recognized with. Not only has Grey China created talk-of-the-town campaigns for brands such as Tencent, but the agency has also rose to be represented in the Grey Global Creative Council. Chee Guan has also been regularly invited to judge at local, regional, and international awards shows.
Some of Chee Guan's work have been featured in Jim Achinson's Cutting Edge Advertising and How Asia Advertise.

Or even believe that such a thing could exist. But he loved to write and had long been fascinated with medicine, so he figured “what the heck?” With no relevant experience or creative portfolio to speak of, he was initially offered a job as an account executive. Nothing against all the wonderful account people out there, but Mike knew that simply wasn’t for him and he continued to press for the copy position. Eventually the agency relented and the rest is history. A few years later, he started at Harrison and Star, where he has remained for 11 years and currently serves as Senior Creative Director. Along the way, Mike has gained experience in a number of specialty disease categories with a particular focus on oncology. SVP Director, Creativity + Innovation CAHG, USA
Enrique is a non-conformist creative director and a kite boarder. He started as a student of computer systems engineering, became an entrepreneur, and landed in Manhattan as an art director at an advertising agency. Enrique believes that a good narrative is contagious, should provoke immediate action and must create a useful and entertaining experience. To do that, designers, storytellers, marketing gurus, and anyone with an interest in spreading an idea has to generate visually driven content that stops people and –irresistibly- forces them to pay attention. We are surrounded by all kinds of noise and boring imagery. Unless one generates arresting and actionable communication platforms, one will fail. Everything is media – use it opportunistically to disseminate work that has an intrinsic wow-factor. Kill conventions systematically. Earn awards, and have fun doing it. Otherwise, if you can’t prove with real-time analytics that your work spreads virally, if you can’t touch hearts with moving images, if you can’t appeal to the collective consciousness about things that matter, then your work won’t win :)

Creative Director, PAN, UK
I left school with a fistful of qualifications, a portfolio stuffed full of creative ambition and a choice of two careers - the first as a sign writer, the second as a studio junior in an ad agency. I took the second option.
From the roots up, I learnt the art of art direction and advertising.
I am a strategic and conceptual thinker with a fire in my belly to produce award-winning work across all mediums. (Although that could just be reflux).
I am Creative Director at PAN where we are all about producing 'Influential Creativity' - ideas that make people feel, behave and think differently.

Healthcare advertising is literally in Matt's genes - his first job was as a copywriter working for his father in a small healthcare agency back in 1991. After learning the basics there, Matt joined McCann Erickson Health in Manchester to learn about life in a major international agency. Following a move to London, Matt joined Torre Lazur McCann, where he spent the next 9 years making his way up the creative department, eventually becoming Joint Creative Director alongside Brett O'Connor. Matt’s next challenge was to take all that experience and start something totally new. In 2009 Matt and Brett helped start VCCP Health. The next 4 years were a complete whirlwind during which time VCCP Health has quickly become known as one of the most exciting, fun and creative healthcare agencies around.
