As a Group Creative Director, he has led market development, launch strategy, and branding and creative development for numerous brands across a broad range of therapeutic categories, from OTC and primary care to high-science, specialty-focused areas. His experience spans such categories as cardiovascular, infectious disease, CNS, and personalized medicine. Growing up on the copy side, Jerry has a soft spot for the power of words in an increasingly visual-driven world. A native of Brooklyn before it was “Brooklyn”, Jerry now lives with his wife and their two soon-to-be-launched twentysomethings in Oak Park (just a short L ride from Chicago’s lovely lakefront). Kevin has been writing healthcare promotional messaging for more than 30 years, gaining expertise in a wide range of therapeutic areas: woman’s health, men’s health, cardiology, psychiatry, endocrinology, virology, oncology, rheumatology, and dermatology. He is skilled at writing across a wide variety of styles (highly clinical to consumer), audiences (specialists, PCPs, payers, patients, and caregivers), and media (print, video, and digital).

Andy McAfee joined AbelsonTaylor in 2003 after spending several years working for consumer shops, like Leo Burnett, where he was responsible for campaigns that garnered national and international awards.
When Andy brought his experience, philosophy, and keen eye to AbelsonTaylor, it didn’t take long before he was tapped to help build the direct-to-consumer (DTC) practice for the agency. Today, many of the campaigns he and his team have worked on have won accolades, like the DTC National, Global, In-Awe, MM&M, PM360, Pharma Choice, and Rx Club awards. His campaign for an oncology drug that treats lung cancer was inducted in the Medical Advertising Hall of Fame. His high-profile work for a leading Rheumatoid Arthritis treatment is one of the longest running DTC campaigns ever.
Not surprisingly, Andy is often asked to pen his perspectives for industry publications. Andy graduated from Yale University and also studied Integrated Marketing Communications at the University of Chicago.
As one of the newer creative talents at TBWA\Worldhealth, Jonathan is responsible for maintaining a leadership role within the agency and for his clients which include bluebird bio and the specialty and hemophilia portfolios at Takeda.
With a career spanning more than 20 years in the pharma, advertising and interactive worlds, Jonathan touts his experience with brand integration as a keystone to his work and philosophy. Over the span of his career he has worked on numerous A-list brands from Absolut, Coca-Cola, McDonalds and Sony to Bayer, GSK, Johnson & Johnson, Nicorette and Theraflu to name a few. Additionally, he has had the fortune to work for a number of globally recognized agencies including, DDB, BBDO, McCann and Cramer-Krasselt.
Jonathan is highly regarded as a proven creative pioneer by both internal leadership and perhaps as important, by his clients. One who believes in leading by example – and who’s passion could be considered infectious. Never one to sit on the sidelines, he loves to roll up his sleeves and get his hands in the dirt whenever need be. Consistently challenging his creative teams to think in fresh and innovative ways... to avoid the status quo at all costs.

She began her advertising career at Corbett, now TBWA Worldwide, over a decade ago working with clients such as Bristol-Myers Squibb, Sanofi-Aventis, Proctor & Gamble, and Alcon.
