Jana Apostolopulu is an award winning creative who feels equally at home in two cultures, in her professional world as well as in her personal life. She has over 20 years of agency experience with network agencies such as Leo Burnett, McCann and TBWA, where she worked for renowned brands and developed national and international campaigns. Her career covers a broad variety of business fields, with an early focus on a holistic and cross-medial approach.
Jana loves to reflect upon brands from an analytical and strategic perspective, and to create brand scenarios that ensure sustainable success in a multicultural and globalized setting. For her, storytelling and dramaturgy are the keys to human interaction.
Seeing the creative process as an inexhaustible source of big ideas, she jumps on each new job with fresh thoughts and contagious enthusiasum. This is probably why shortly after Jana joined Pink Carrots, the agency flew to the top of the list of creative healthcare agencies in Germany, and landed her on award juries around the world.

For more than 20 years Gunther Brodhecker has been working as copywriter, creative director as well as Chief Creative Officer for agencies such as Saatchi & Saatchi, Lowe Lintas, J. Walter Thompson, and Kastner & Partner.
Gunther’s mentor was Johannes Kastner, known as co-creator of the Red Bull brand and originator of the global “Give you Wings” campaign. Another significant figure during his formative years was David Droga, creative head at Saatchi & Saatchi Europe at the time, with whom Gunther cooperated as german creative lead for the pan-European development of Sony’s “Go Create” campaige. “Dave is the personification of the Golden Standard: as a person, as a leader and, in any case, as a creative”.
Gunther Brodhecker has won numerous national and international awards – ranging from Effie and Euro Effie over New York Festival, London International AA, Epica, VWD Award, Ottocar, DDC, Triple A to the national Radio Award and many more.
“After only 2 years of experience in healthcare advertising, I still feel like a rookie”, says Brodhecker, “Healthcare is my late love, but it´s a deep one for sure”. Prior to committing himself to healthcare advertising at Schmittgall HEALTH, he worked for brands such as Beck’s beer, Campari, Red Bull, Toyota, Sony, Wilkinson Sword, De Beers, Rolex, National Bank and various P&G brands.
Burghard Drews studied communication design at the University of Wuppertal and has more than 25 years experience in various agencies.
As Creative Director at the Cologne-based agency antwerpes ag, he focuses on the topic of healthcare communication for already more than 20 years and runs a vibrant team of 3 units and 30+ designers. “Great ideas can become something special when combined with expertise and innovation, using the latest technologies and a cross-media approach”, Burghard is convinced.
He has already won numerous awards (many of them even multiple times) including Cannes Lions, ADC Germany, Midas, D & AD, iF Design Award, London International Advertising Award (LIAA), Red Dot Award, Clio Awards, Intermedia Globe, The Thing, NY, Emma Award, American Design Award, Comprix, New York Festivals, The Globals NY, German Multimedia Award, BoB Award, Best 18.1, ARC Award, ECON, European Excellence Award, and many others.

Before WEFRA LIFE he worked as Creative Director Digital at Webguerillas/Territory Hamburg and were responsible for different clients of the FMCG and Automotive Sector like Porsche, Nestlé and Deutsche Bahn.
He had more than 18 years experience in CRM, Digital Marketing, Social Marketing and Cross Channel Campaigning with agencies like Wunderman Deutschland/Frankfurt, Geometry Global Germany/Düsseldorf.
Uwe‘s start into communications began with his studies at the „Staatlichen Akademie der Bildenden Künste“ Stuttgart at Prof. Heinz Edelmann. With his diploma as Graphic Designer in hands 29 years of working experience in international agencies like Saatchi & Saatchi, Ogilvy & Mather, Lowe, Leo Burnett, Young & Rubicam and Sudler & Hennessey followed.
He is member of the Art Directors Club Germany and Europe, with his creative teams he won awards at shows like Cannes, ADC, D&AD, LIAA, Cresta, Clio and Effie. Since 25 years he is doing trainings and guidance of trainées and juniors, since 17 years guestlectures and teaching activities at universities.
Born with a passion for art, music and design, Marten was only ever going to study communication design.
He worked in fashion, beauty and lifestyle ad agencies for a few years before Select Life was founded under his team management.
Before long, it became the global lead agency for all Merck’s consumer health and other brands.
Beside that he was always thrilled to be working for sustainable brands and NGOs.
He started at Serviceplan Health in 2019 and is delighted to be there.

The roots of Mike’s career go back to his school days. Blessed with disastrous marks in natural sciences he discovered his outstanding talent for music and arts. Mike decided against a career as a Rockstar in favour of arts and went on to study graphics, film and photography at the Blackpool College of Arts and Technology in the north of England. After an excellent graduation Mike started his career as a young creative at Avon Cosmetics in Londons Knightsbridge. After six years he moved with the company to their base in Munich. He later left Avon to join the Serviceplan Group after a short interlude at Young & Rubicam in Vienna. At Serviceplan he witnessed the incredible growth of the group from 150 to currently over 4300 employees worldwide. During this time he used his experience in the healthcare sector to help build up the Serviceplan Health Group. He has been Managing Director and Creative Partner for over 20 years.
Mike has a wide range of experience in healthcare communication – especially in the area of TV Commercials for top OTC brands. He has won many awards in global and local festivals e.g. Cannes, Clio, Crystal Festival, D&AD, Eurobest, Globals, New York Festival, GWA-Effie RX Club, and the leading German Healthcare Award Comprix.
Over the years Mike has also been very active as a Jury Member at leading Festivals e.g Lions Health, Clio Health, The Globals, Eurobest and at the German Comprix Award where for several years he has been Jury Chairman OTC. In 2017 he was Jury President Health & Wellness at Lions Health in Cannes.
