Franki Baker has built her career in marketing and advertising since 1981 (yes, she was a child prodigy), starting out in marketing at Wilson Rowntree (now Nestlé) and spearheading the iconic Bar One “for a 25 hour day” campaign. Having worked with blue chip local and global companies such as Beecham (now GSK), Adcock Ingram, Reckitt Benckiser, Bausch+Lomb, Austell Laboratories and many more. Franki has built a reputation as an innovative, creative and fearless marketer. Three years ago she launched The Sharpest Pencil, applying a unique advertising model with a focus on in-market success for her clients, which has made her a key player in the healthcare sector in South Africa.
